ABB, a leading robotics and automation company, has launched the YuMi dual-arm robot, designed for high-precision assembly and inspection tasks. The robot features two arms, each with seven axes of movement, allowing it to perform complex tasks with ease.
High-Precision Capabilities
The YuMi robot is equipped with advanced sensing and control systems, enabling it to achieve precision of 0.1mm. This makes it ideal for tasks such as electronics assembly, medical device manufacturing, and aerospace component production.
The robot's dual-arm design allows for 15% increased productivity compared to traditional single-arm robots.
