Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026 — framework-feed.io

Short version: we collect minimal data, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it. The long version is below.

Who we are

Framework Feed is an independent tech intelligence publication operated at framework-feed.io. For privacy inquiries: privacy@framework-feed.io.

What data we collect

Data you give us directly

Data collected automatically

Cookies

We use the following cookie categories. You can update your preferences at any time using the cookie banner or by clicking here.

Strictly Necessary

Required for basic site function. Includes: session identifiers, consent preference storage (ff_consent_v1). These cannot be disabled.

Analytics

Used to understand how visitors use the site. If enabled, we collect pseudonymous session data via our own first-party collector at /api/events. Data is stored in our own analytics database and is not shared with third parties. Google Analytics 4 is also loaded if you consent — data is subject to Google's privacy policy and stored on Google infrastructure. Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymization and consent mode v2.

Marketing

Only enabled with your explicit consent. May include Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram advertising) and Google Ads conversion tracking. These allow us to show relevant ads to you on those platforms and measure the effectiveness of any advertising campaigns we run. Data processed by these tools is subject to Meta's and Google's respective privacy policies.

Personalization

Enables article recommendations based on your reading history on framework-feed.io only. No cross-site tracking. Data is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not transmitted to our servers without your consent.

Advertising

Framework Feed displays advertisements to support our journalism. We use Adsterra as our primary ad network. By default, Adsterra serves contextual ads — matched to the content of the article you're reading, not to your personal profile. Behavioral targeting (ads targeted to you based on your browsing history) is only enabled if you consent to Marketing cookies.

Adsterra's privacy policy is available at adsterra.com/privacy.

How we use your data

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, sell to data brokers, or make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data with the following categories of third parties:

Your rights (GDPR — EU/UK residents)

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Do Not Sell My Personal Information: We do not sell personal information. If you would like to confirm this or submit a formal do-not-sell request, email privacy@framework-feed.io with the subject line "CCPA Do Not Sell Request."

Data retention

Security

We use HTTPS for all connections. Server access is restricted and audited. We do not store payment information — any subscription payments are processed by third-party payment processors subject to PCI DSS requirements.

Framework Feed is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, contact privacy@framework-feed.io and we will delete it promptly.
