Boston Dynamics, a leading robotics company, has unveiled its latest humanoid robot, Atlas 2.0, designed specifically for search and rescue missions. The new robot boasts improved mobility, balance, and sensing capabilities, allowing it to navigate challenging environments with ease.
Enhanced Capabilities
Atlas 2.0 features a more advanced hydraulic system, enabling it to move 25% faster than its predecessor. Its enhanced balance and stability allow it to climb stairs, navigate uneven terrain, and even recover from falls.
The robot's advanced sensing system can detect and respond to its environment in under 10 milliseconds.
