Raytheon Technologies has developed a new hypersonic missile system to counter Chinese threats. The system, which uses advanced propulsion systems to achieve speeds of over Mach 5, is expected to significantly enhance the US military's ability to conduct hypersonic operations.
System Capabilities
The Raytheon Technologies system will be able to conduct a variety of hypersonic operations, including reconnaissance and strike missions. The system will also be able to conduct hypersonic attacks, allowing the US military to disable enemy targets.
The system has a range of over 1,000 miles.
