Competing with Micron
Samsung's move is seen as a direct challenge to Micron, which has been a major player in the memory chip market. According to industry insiders, the 1TB LPDDR5X chip offers a significant improvement over Micron's comparable offerings.
The 1TB LPDDR5X chip has a 20% lower power consumption than the previous generation.
